Integrated Research Center for Educational Practice

The Integrated Research Center for Educational Practice was founded in April, 1999, on the basis of the Attached Research Center for Educational Practice, its forerunner founded in 1976. The center consists of the Division of Research in Educational Practice and the Division of Research in Clinical Education. Besides the advancement of various research programs, development of materials for computer-/internet-assisted teaching, as well as general teaching apparatus and materials, is actively promoted in this center.

Incidentally, the Center for Education and Research in Lifelong Learning, founded in 1991, is among the University's joint on-campus education and research facilities. The objective of the center is to promote education and research in lifelong learning in coordination with various kinds of social welfare and/or educational facilities of the local community. Its activities are conducted in close cooperation with the Faculty of Education.
